About the author in his own words:

Jhonnatan Sedeño Moses Curiel was born on September 26, 1986 in Tijuana , Baja California, Mexico.

Education: BA in Communication from the UABC, the 8th semester.

In 2004 I attended a free poetry workshop taught by the Uruguayan poet / Mexican Saul Ibargoyen at the University of Tijuana (CUT).

In 2005 got 1st place in the III Literary Contest organized by the Language and Literature Bachelor of Arts in the UABC in the genre of poetry with the work: Chronicle shoes.

turn, in 2005 and early 2006 I attended a poetry workshop coordinated by Poet group No-place in La Casa de la 9 .

In February 2006 I published independently my first poetry book titled Summer with the support of the publishing project Exist. This publication was presented at the Centro Cultural Tijuana (Tijuana Cultural Center), Teniente Guerrero Park, the School of Humanities at the UABC, the book fair in 2006 Tijuana and Tijuana book fair in 2007.

Also in 2006 got 1st place in the contest organized by the degree minifiction Literature School of Humanities.

In turn, the same year I got 1st place in the Literary Arts Contest of the week Telvista cultural company with the work: Poems Call Center.

In 2007 V participated in the festival of Literature Northwest Shifting Borders organized by the Tijuana Cultural Center in the city of Tijuana on the table reading of poetry and narrative in northern Mexico.

Also, the same year participated in the 2007 Caracol Poetry Gathering organized by the poet in Tijuana No-Place.

At the beginning of 2008 I got the Encouragement and Artistic Development Baja California, in the category of Young Creators with the proposal of a book of urban poetry.

recently in July this year I published my second collection of poems entitled Chronicle shoes sponsored by the School of Humanities at the UABC.

I made presentations of this last issue in the Old Town Hall and the School of Humanities, besides having presented radio programs air Lyrics and Route 6, both on 102.5 fm.

I have participated in various readings around the city and made publications in local and Exist, Catharsis, Magin and Volante.

in 2008 also participated as a presenter of the book Gumaro of God, the cannibal journalist Alejandro Almazan and the book won the National Poetry Award young Elias Nandino a foreign language translation of Luis George Boone, both presented at the Centro Cultural Tijuana (Tijuana Cultural Center).

currently serves on the editorial board of the magazine and Exist I have a section in the magazine entitled Eye speaker.

In turn, I am a partner in the project of poetry Poetics traveling Tijuana, launched earlier this year.

I am currently an intern in the Colegio de la Frontera Norte where I collaborate with Dr. Alberto Hernandez in the development and editorial process the book Regions and Religions in Mexico, Studies in socio-religious transformation , coming out shortly.
